Our homes take an all year round beating from dust, dirt, algae, insects, mould, UV rays and many other harmful contaminants. This causes a build up of dirt on render, leaving it stained and tired looking.
Depending on the severity of the dirt or staining depends on the type of treatment we use. If maintained on a regular bases our operatives can use something as simple as a mild degreaser to remove and dirt. If the staining has further absorbed into the render, sodium hypochlorite (bleach) may be used. If the soiling is more organic, such as; moss, lichen or algae, it would be more advisable to treat with a biocide product. Whatever service best suits your needs, we would discuss all options with the customer during the quotation period.
All of our operatives are trained in coshh and are fully experienced in the handling and application of all the products we use. We have data sheets for any chemical we apply and risk assess each job we undertake. Everything will be discussed and explained to the customer at point of quote.
Cladding can be made from a variety of materials, and the type used in its construction will determine the best cleaning method. Read on to find out more about cleaning PVC, metal, UPVC, and zinc cladding.
For each surface we would brush down with a soft bristle brush, then rinse with water. Depending on the type of surface, we may apply a suitable product (upvc cleaner or degreaser) and give a final rinse off with water. This will leave your cladding looking clean and fresh.
A regular cleaning schedule can not only keep your cladding looking clean but also prolong its life.
Does it make much mess?
Due to the low pressure method used to apply the product and rinsing (when required), mess is kept to a minimum. There may be some water splashing of the windows and surrounding area.
Will my render/cladding look like new?
This can differ due to environmental and situational variations. Biological and general dirt will be removed although some staining may require further treatment. This can include rust marks and staining from the run off of other materials. But in general, the render/cladding cleaning service gives outstanding results.
How long does it take?
This very much depends on size, treatment chosen and access. For a single side of an average size house, we would expect it to take around 90 mins, this includes any setting up and packing away of equipment.
How much does it cost?
For a typical 3 bedroom semi-detached, a RENDER clean will start from around £300.
Cladding prices very much depend on the amount of cladding used.
